Five rounds raced and Eddie (Supernova) is still at the top of the leader board!
After missing a few races Alan Bishop (Solo) has returned with a bang, taking three wins on the 21st of July to regain the top spot. Eddie Johnson (Supernova) holds onto second ahead of Stephen Bishop (Solo).
There's been some great sailing so far this year - despite the British weather doing it's best to spoil it!
Mr. Consistency has been Eddie Johnson (Supernova) with a string of wins except for the last race in May when Marcus Shaw (Solution), who is second in the series, took the win.
That's the Spring Series sewn up for 2019! Notable that the fifth place was taken by a much less 'racy' boat that many below it in the table. Proof, if you needed it, that in sailing the difference is made by the sailor, not the boat!

Single Race Results
All single handers for the Rod Little this year! Paul Leaf trying his hand in a Supernova - amongst a field of 4 of a popular boat at Girton. It was Alan Bishop who took top spot in his Solo, despite the chasing pack of 'novas!
The Supernova Travellers' Trophy visited Griton for their annual visit on the 27th of July. Conditions were a little wet, but the sailing was of a high quality.
Local helm, Tony Bleasdale, battled hard for the host club, coming second overall, with a win and a second place, dropping a fourth in race 3. He was pipped by Gary Butterfield who took two wins in races 2 & 3, dropping his fourth in race 1! Third place was Dana Church from another local club, Notts County.
Other Girton sailors included Marcus Shaw (5th), Eddie Johnson (7th), Amie King (8th) and Joanne Daubney (11th).
Paul Leafe (Enterprise) at the helm and Rachael as crew take the Anniversary Trophy 2019 with a 2nd and a win in a race dominated by double handers!

Just 6 boats took part in the Majestic Trophy this year - with the Supernova's taking the two top spots!
First Blood to Marcus Shaw (Solution) as he took the first race in the pursuit series today. Eddie Johnson (Supernova) took the win in the second to share overall honours with Marcus.
