    Training news…

    Two Girton SC members have triumphed in the Midlands final of the Honda RYA Youth Rib Championship. George Baxter, 15, and Edward Ryder, 10, will be heading to the national final at the Southampton Boat Show Sept 16th, to compete against 12 other competitors each in their respective age categories.
    George won his age group with a personal best time of 1:00, leaving second place 14 seconds behind him. Edward won his age group with a great time of 1:21 which was 11 seconds ahead of second place. Well done to both and good luck in Southampton.

    Racing Rules evening

    Always wanted to understand the rules of dinghy racing better.  Good understanding of the rules will help you more competitive since part of the ‘water-based chess game’ that is sailboat racing is using the rules to your advantage!

    Guest speaker, Jeff Coate (Notts County SC) will ensure you have a full grasp of how the rules apply to the best sport in the world!

    May 10th starting at 7:00 pm.

    Refreshments will be available.
